Dear Customer,

To insure your warranty claim is processed quickly, please submit a complete Warranty Claim Form, with a copy of your company's Service Ticket/Service Invoice attached. Also, if parts were replaced as part of your warranty claim, attach a Material Return Tag to the failed part and return it per the instructions on the tag. Please do not return low-cost parts; such as broken springs, pins, screws and other hardware.

Warranty Policy

Kold Draft International (hereinafter referred to as “KDI”) warrants to the Purchaser of Kold-Draft ice cube making machines, ice storage bins, ice dispensers and ice crushers manufactured by KDI and sold under KDI trademark “Kold-Draft” that KDI will pay labor costs in remedying defects in materials and workmanship in the Products occurring during the three (3) year Limited Labor Warranty Period in accordance with the terms and provisions of this Warranty. KDI will pay labor costs to repair or replace a defective component in a Product installed in the United States of America, Canada and (Mexico - Parts only) when failure occurs within the three (3) year Warranty Period only when such labor is performed by a qualified refrigeration service agency registered with KDI for the Purchaser’s area and authorized by KDI to perform warranty service, provided that the Product has been installed, serviced and maintained in accordance with KDI recommended service and maintenance procedures and installation instructions. Reimbursement for labor charges covered by this Warranty will be made directly to the authorized KDI distributor or designated factory representative for the area. The amount will be the lesser of either the actual cost or the amount calculated by using the Factory approved straight time labor rate and the hour allowance published in KDI “Kold-Draft Service Guide”, as established from time to time by KDI. Additional expenses, including, but not limited to, overtime premium, travel time, material cost, accessing or removal of the Product, any labor associated with repair or replacement of non-defective parts, and all maintenance, adjustments, cleaning, ice purchases, installation and start-up are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. KDI warrants to the Purchaser that the Kold-Draft ice cube making machines, ice storage bins, ice dispensers and ice crushers which are manufactured by KDI and sold under KDI trademark “Kold-Draft” will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the following periods beginning at the Warranty Commencement Date as defined on the other side of this Warranty:

THIS WARRANTY INCLUDES AND IS SUBJECT TO THE WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, DEFINITIONS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS WARRANTY AND AS MAY BE DESCRIBED IN KOLD-DRAFT'S SERVICE INFORMATION THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (EXCEPT KDI LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY), AND KDI DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT Initial Warranty Period: 3 years for all Products Additional Warranty Period: 2 additional years from the date of manufacture (total of 5 years) for all compressors and ice cube evaporator - parts only.

Warranty Procedure

All claims made under this Warranty must first be submitted within 30 days of the date of service to the authorized KDI distributor or designated factory representative for the area in which the installation is made by returning the defective Product or part, transportation prepaid, to the Distributor or designated factory representative with the original service bill and information about the model and serial number, date of purchase, date of installation and customer identification. Warranty claims may be made to the Factory only after the above-described procedure has been followed.
